Dr. Brian Morrison is an Associate Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and a nationally recognized expert in nail disorders and community dermatology. His clinical and research work focuses on early detection of nail unit tumors, especially in underserved populations.
He leads the Miami Nail Skills Course and has published extensively on nail disorders, including HPV-associated conditions and longitudinal nail plate changes, in top journals like JAMA Dermatology and JAAD. Dr. Morrison also directs the Dermatology Residency and its Health Disparities Track, where he mentors future leaders in dermatology.
Through both local projects—such as studying acral melanocytic lesions in unsheltered populations—and international initiatives, Dr. Morrison is committed to advancing access to dermatologic care worldwide.
